Struggling with your fertility on your own can be a really lonely road.
At times on our 7-year fertility journey, I used to feel like a long-distance runner out on the endless road. One by one, I would see friends finishing their race, only for me to be on my own again, staggering on, never quite knowing if, or when, the end would come.
But what if it didn’t have to be like this?
Sometimes keeping going on the same path is not the right option. As scary as it might be, especially when you have you have your proverbial biological clock ticking loudly in your ears, taking a step back, really looking at what you’re doing and trying something different can make all the difference.
After my second ectopic pregnancy, I knew that IVF was realistically the only option for us to complete our family. By this time, I was 41 and was terrified that I had left it too late to complete our family. So, I decided to do something different and reached out for help from a fertility Nutritional Therapist who guided me, gave me direction and helped me get my body ready for our final round of IVF.
This was probably our last opportunity to have a second child and I decided that I wasn’t going to waste this precious chance by being unprepared. I wanted to know I had done everything I possibly could to improve our chances. Our second daughter Imogen came into our lives through this IVF round and I have never regretted my decision to reach out for help.
Do you feel that you need a fresh start with things?
I am so excited to be launching a new group programme to take a small number of women on the next step on their fertility journey. Through my 5-point confusion to clarity framework, I will guide you to understand exactly what you need to do to improve your chances of having a healthy pregnancy.
Using a combination of my own personal experience of having two successful rounds of IVF and all the extensive work I have done since with my 1:1 fertility clients, I have created a framework for the foundations that are essential for healthy fertility. Get these right and you will go a long way to improving your chances of having a baby.
My 5-point confusion to clarity framework to improve your chances of having a healthy pregnancy:
- The best way to eat to support your fertility
- The important lifestyle changes you need to make to improve your chances
- How to detox your life and reduce your toxin load
- How to improve your overall health to support your fertility
- My top tips to nurture a positive fertility mindset
Not sure where to start?
My advice is to give yourself a fresh start and remind yourself that conception and pregnancy are very energetically expensive processes for the body. The foundations of your fertility need to be solid in order to grow a healthy baby. Most importantly, remember your focus should not just be on getting pregnant, but rather maintaining a healthy pregnancy.
The 3 months preconception period is a hugely important time for the long-term health of your child into adulthood. One way to look at it is that it actually takes 12 months to grow a baby: 3 months to lay down the optimal preconception foundations for good egg and sperm health (Trimester 0) and the 9 months that your baby will actually be growing in your womb (Trimesters 1, 2 and 3).
Do you feel that you have tried loads of things before and nothing has worked so far?
Many people get caught up in what other people are doing, the latest fertility fad that is currently trending or the advice they have read on fertility forums, but they completely overlook or don’t understand what the foundations of good fertility are.
So, if you are looking for a different way of doing things, one with guidance, support and clarity on exactly what you need to do to improve your chances of having a baby, then this is for you!
